Hi folks,
Apologies to anyone who is adversely affected by this, but I’ve had to turn off user registrations after multiple attempts to DDOS the site and post spam in the comments, which my site settings caught and prevented. I went through the list of registered users, pinged the mail server associated with their email domain and all but one came back with the same IP address.
This is sadly amateur hour bullshit but it means that allowing people to sign up for push updates is no longer a service that will be offered on this site. At some point in the future, I might put in a more advanced user management system that blacklist certain mail server addresses, but right now, I have neither the time nor the money for that.
However, there’s more than one way to get content delivered! If you would like to subscribe to the blog feed and you’re using the RSS reader in Outlook or browser of choice, you can do so using an RSS feed and pointing your RSS reader here.
If you’re on Windows, a good resource for RSS feed setup and management and access can be found here. There are good third party apps for reviewing feeds on MacOS-X. And if you’re a Linux user you can probably find an RSS reader using whatever package management tool ships with your distro.
